Our company brings over a decade of hands-on HVAC and refrigeration experience directly to your property. Founded and led by Dalai Reilly, who has held a Class A HVAC Contractor License for both Process Cooling Refrigeration and Environmental Air Conditioning since 2022, our crew is equipped to handle everything from residential systems to heavy commercial equipment.
Before launching Astronaut Cooling & Heating, Dalai worked in elite technical roles, including building controls, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, chillers, large tonnage packaged units, and even advanced robotics. This rigorous background gives our entire team a deeper understanding of how complex machinery actually works, ensuring we diagnose problems accurately rather than just guessing.
We believe true mastery should be shared. Dalai previously instructed HVAC night classes at Austin Community College, successfully graduating 35 adult students into the trade.
Following his time teaching, he successfully managed and trained field teams for two prominent local HVAC companies, leading a team of technicians to complete 180 critical service calls during the record-breaking heat of July 2025. Today, that exact curriculum forms the training foundation for every member of our fleet. Most corporate companies train technicians to memorize sales scripts; we train our crew to diagnose, understand, and solve problems.
