I have over 10 years of hands-on HVAC and refrigeration experience here in Austin. I have held a Class A HVAC Contractor License for both Process Cooling Refrigeration and Environmental Air Conditioning since 2022 and have worked on everything from residential systems to commercial equipment and refrigeration.
Before starting Astronaut Cooling & Heating, I worked in high-level technical roles, including building controls, variable refrigerant flow systems, chillers, large tonnage package units and even robotics systems. That background gave me a deeper understanding of how complex systems actually work, not just how to sell them.
I also instructed at Austin Community College teaching HVAC night classes and graduated 35 adult students.
After teaching and before starting Astronaut, I successfully managed and trained teams for two local HVAC companies. On our best month I led a team of six technicians to complete 180 service calls in the month of July 2025.
Most companies train technicians to follow scripts. I trained to diagnose, understand, and solve problems.

You will never get pushed into something you do not need. If there is a way to save your system, I will show you. If replacement is the smarter move, I will explain why.
It’s simple, you have a machine, machines can be fixed, we know how to fix it. If its not worth fixing we can replace it. HVAC doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.
