Outstanding Service, Fair Pricing, and Honest Work!

I couldn't be happier with the service from Astronaut Cooling & Heating! After receiving several outrageous, gouged quotes from some of the big-box HVAC companies in Austin for a straightforward rental condo swap-out, I found Astronaut Cooling & Heating through recommendations from neighbors.

Having built residential homes and managed commercial projects, I know what HVAC equipment and labor should actually cost — and the owner, Dalai Reilly, backed up every claim of fair pricing, top-notch customer service, and professional execution.

Dalai recommended a new GE system. I was initially skeptical since GE is newer to this specific residential split-system space, but after researching the specs and discovering their solid build quality and 10-year parts warranty, it was a no-brainer. Dalai's installation team arrived right on schedule, did a fast, clean, high-quality install, and had the condo cooling perfectly.

It’s rare to find an HVAC company that offers technical excellence and craftsmanship without corporate markup. I will 100% be using Astronaut Cooling & Heating when it comes time to replace the system at my personal home. Highly recommend!

Lewis, thank you so much for such a thoughtful and detailed review! It really means a lot, especially coming from someone with your background and experience in construction. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you, and I'm glad we were able to provide a solution that made sense both technically and financially. I've always believed that quality workmanship, honest recommendations, and fair pricing should go hand in hand, and it's incredibly rewarding to have that recognized. I'll be sure to pass your compliments along to the installation team as well. We truly appreciate your trust in us and look forward to working with you again whenever you need us. Thanks again for supporting our small business!

Dalai has been INCREDIBLE to work with! I reached out to two other HVAC companies with no response before I found Astronaut Cooling. Dalai was able to schedule my service very quickly. He is very kind, very professional, and fixes what needs to be fixed without any pressure or upselling. I have been screaming from the rooftops, telling everyone I know to contact Astronaut Cooling :)
